That Lame Company - Box Of Lame September 2016

You may have seen my post last year about the stationery subscription box I bought from That Lame Company. Well, a new box was just released so I had to get my hands on it!

This time, Chloe and Charlie decided to have 3 box sizes for people to choose from: the blogger box (£25) was the largest, the big box (£21) and the small box (£15). As I don't blog much and had no use for the blogger-themed pads, I went with the big box.

As always the box was crammed full of goodies (a few edible ones this time too!) and well worth the price. The items are a mix of their own products, and items from various Etsy shops. Some items are in every box (depending on the size) and others (including the Etsy shop products) are different in every box.

Many of the items made by That Lame Company can also be bought separately in their store so I will add the links for each item.

That Lame Company - Winter Box of Lame

That Lame Company was founded by two students. Chloe and Charlie, and is a great place to find unique items. In the Summer they released the Big Box of Lame, and it was such a great success they have created the Winter Box of Lame which I received yesterday.

The box comes in a variety of options. You can buy the big box with no phone case for £21, the big box including a slim phone case for £30.99 and the big box including a premium phone case for £33.99. The small box is £15 with no phone cover, the small box with a slim phone case is £25.99 and the small box with a premium phone case is £28.99

I went for the big box including a premium phone case.

I really love the packaging!

The Luxury Fragrance Fix Box - The London Perfume Company

After getting an email from The London Perfume Company yesterday about their new Beauty Boxes, I decided to go for The Luxury Box (£15.99) as it included a Tangle Teezers which always comes in handy! The Regular Fix box does not include the Tangle Teezer or Clarins Perfume and costs (£10.99).
You can get them both at www.thelondonperfumecompany.com

Amazingly, the box arrived this afternoon after purchasing only yesterday morning. Great service.

Galaxy Nails Tutorial

My current favourite nail are is Galaxy nails. They are a lot easier to do than they look, and because you are sponging on only a small amount of polish at a time, are pretty fast drying too.

The products I used:
Kate Spade for Nails Inc - New York Noir, LCN - I love LCN, Models Own - Pink Punch
Barry M - Pacific, Taras Talons - Donner, Barry M - Diamond Glitter, Seche Vite Topcoat and Leighton Denny Miracle Mist. I also used cheap make up sponge (I picked up a bag of them from Poundland) and tissues.

Subscription Box - Wantables Accessories - February

As Wantable had an offer for a free box (just pay shipping and taxes) if you ordered one in January, I decided to go for the Accessories box after choosing Intimates for the first. Details on how to get your own and the cost are at the bottom of the post.

Subscription Box - Wantable Intimates - February

I have been dying to try out the various Wantable boxes for a while and as soon as I heard they had launched UK delivery I jumped at the chance! After much thought, I decided to go for the Intimates Box first. It is the most recent addition to the collection which also includes Make-up and Jewellery boxes. Each box costs $36, plus $7 handling fee and $7.20 tax for UK delivery (other countries may have different charges) bring it to a total of $50.20 which is around £30.70. The handling charge of $7 is very cheap for delivery from the US, and the tax fee means you will not be hit with custom charges later, which are normally  more than double that.

The delivery was super fast, especially coming all the way from the US. I ordered the box on 29 January and it arrived today, 7 February. And as Wantable cater to each customer individually as I will explain below, they have to pick which items would most suit you first, so I was very impressed to receive it after only 9 days.

When you first log on to the Wantable website, you will first need to choose whether you wish to receive the Make up, Jewellery or Intimates box (or all three!) You will then get a brief description of any theme's or new products you may find in this months box. The next page you will find the quiz, which you complete to help the team decide what to put in your box. Be honest about your likes and dislikes, and any sizes you may require. Once you have completed this you can order your box and sit and wait for the arrival.

Now onto my box.
